Process
I wanted to write the true story of a reporter who risked her professional reputation and family life to expose sexual discrimination and its systemic cover-up on Wall Street when I read an article she wrote in the New York Times. I contacted the journalist, Susan Antilla, who began the process of securing the rights. The process involved interviews with Antilla towards creating a character based on her, as well as fleshing out the material in her book. After writing a screenplay, we optioned the material to a production company for development.
Result
A finished screenplay in development with a production company.
